The year has drawn to a close, and with it my third year’s collection of images for The 52 project. I love this project for the motivation it gives me to capture the children often, but I’ve found it much harder to keep up since Roo started school in September. The darkness draws in so early during the last few months of the year and by the time he gets home from school, there’s barely enough natural light to capture him. Next year I will share a collection of images of each child, each month instead of a portrait each week to make things easier but still maintain the discipline to photograph them regularly with my big camera. These last set of images for the year are some of my favourites this year. Captured in the woods amongst beautiful light seeping through the trees, two little woodland pixies.
