It snowed last week, not enough to settle but just enough to add a little magic to a cold and gloomy day. I’ve been lighting all the candles, cleaning all the dust bunnies, cooking all the stews and taking all the cuddles I can get. These faded dried out camelias were too pretty not to capture, the little deer toy on my daughter’s mantle was a gift from me from New York, she declared it her favourite present ever, a reminder that simple and small can win out over big and fancy. This slow cooked beef stew was incredible, I’ll share the recipe soon. And my new ceramic coffee dripper pleases me more than it should. Slow coffee – I guess it’s a thing right.
Hope you all had a lovely week at home in the warm too xo
