Amy & Ivor moccasins are a bit of a weakness for Elsie and I. My sister gave her a pair of cinnamon moccs for Xmas last year and she lived in them. They were perfect to keep her tootsies warm when she was little and to help her over the months when learning to walk as the soles are soft and nonrestrictive. When she eventually outgrew them we replaced them with exactly the same pair and when she eventually outgrew those, I bought her first pair of soled boots. They’re great for being out and about but she missed having something snug and comfy to wear around the house or on trips in the pram. Something that didn’t confine her feet like the boots we’d bought. So we were over the moon when we received these chestnut high tops in the post from Alice, founder of Amy & Ivor.
I’ve found she walks better in soft soles with noticeably less falls as she can use her feet and toes more for balance and grip. She wears them everywhere, as long as it isn’t raining when wellies are essential for the girl who likes nothing more than to splash in puddles.
