A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2015. Linking up with Jodi for The 52 Project.
And so this project draws to a close with this, the last week of portraits for 2015, and my final entry for The 52 Project.
Elsie, indulging in pasta pesto and sausages wrapped in bacon on Christmas Day – well why not! And Rafferty, welcoming a winter’s walk to blow away the cobwebs after a few days spent indoors.
This little project is such a good reminder to me of how precious time is, as I watch my children change, blossom and bloom from one week to the next in 2015. One of them from a toddler into a little boy, and the other from a baby to a toddler. They are, in many ways, unrecognisable from my first entry in January, and yet in so many ways, they are still just my babies.
In 2016, I’m going to be posting a month in pictures for each child as each month draws to a close. I think this will give me a little more flexbility, and I look forward to the reminder to look back on each month as they pass and remind myself of all the magic my children bring to my life.
Thank you for following along with my entries this year, and I hope you’ll pop back in to see what we’re up to in 2016.
