A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2015. Linking up with Jodi for The 52 Project.
I haven’t quite found my groove since we got back from holiday mostly because last week Raff started going to the school nursery in the afternoons and it was all a bit here and there with the settling in days. We’ve also had lots of tradesmen round lately fixing our leaky roof and painting the windows at the front of our house which wouldn’t have stood another winter so I feel I’ve been making endless cups of sweet tea for people.
We laid low last week, I caught on on laundry – and then of course another mountain of it piled up before I knew it. Raff seemed to really enjoy nursery he galloped in without a care in the world and didn’t turn round to see I was still there which was just the reaction I was hoping for. It’s so lovely to see him grow in confidence.
Hoping this week things will start to return to normal and we’ll ease into the new rhythm of our days. Elsie has just moved up a size in sleepsuits but her feet don’t reach the ends of the new size yet which makes me very happy indeed.
